I’ve tried the local version from overseas previously, and here’s one version packaged for sale in the United States. I love tom yum and it so happens we have some shrimp – let’s get this one going! Nongshim x Jayfai Shin Ramyun Tom Yum – United States Detail of the side panels (click to enlarge). Contains fish. To prepare, add 400ml room temp water and dry base sachet contents. Microwave 5 minutes at 1000W. Add in paste sachet. Finally, stir and enjoy! Detail of the lid (click to enlarge). An instant noodle block. A sachet of soup base powder seasoning. A sachet of liquid soup base. Loose bits and seasoning from the cup. Finished (click to enlarge). Added shrimp, scallion, sesame seed, and crushed red pepper. Noodle came out very nicely; a little thicker would’ve been even better. The broth has a very dark broth – very red. It tastes more like tom yum with a strong lean on tomato which reminds me to Malaysian style. Veg was nice too. Really impressed – delightful. 4.0 out of 5.0…
