This blog is moving to another domain Please update your feeds. I finished this book a couple of weeks ago, but I found time only now to post my thoughts on it. This book is a memoir of Facebook's ex-policy maker who describes her experience at Facebook and how it turned from a project focused on connecting people into a project blamed for spying on people, selling their data, manipulating elections, and destroying democracy. From the beginning, the author makes it clear that Facebook is controlled by different heads, not the founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. Mark is just a nerd who has social anxiety about talking to people. All his public appearances are well practiced and organized.
