Facade as Art – Havana, Cuba I’ve recently featured a couple of photos shot in the morning after the storm. I was with a small group walking to a part of Havana we hadn’t been to before. This photo and the next bunch of posts are all from the walk. I shot differently. With the official photo instruction over and a smaller, more relaxed group, I took more time. The neighborhood we visited was also different. It was quieter and less chaotic. All these influences must have put me in a different state of mind. Architectural details became even more evident. Not just the dilapidated kind which I showed on numerous occasions, but also lovely artistic details. The grunge and disharmony shouts, subtle, lovely details whisper.
