Review by Sandre the Giant Released: 12th June 2026 The new record from Baltimore’s weirdest progressive thrashers Nuclear Tomb is called ‘Epoch Inhumane’, and it is out in a few weeks through Rotted Life Records. Now, I really enjoyed their debut record ‘Terror Labyrinthian’ in 2024, and I’m fascinated to see where they take their proggy, oddball thrash on this record. We’ve been needing some bands to step into the shoes of Coroner and Voivod, maybe Nuclear Tomb are the guys to do it? Let’s get into this then. If you’d thought ‘Terror Labyrinthian’ was fearsome, just wait until ‘Watch the Skies’ grabs you by the throat in its bloody claws and thrashes the everloving shit out of you. Rabid, thrashy riffs with surprisingly subtle technical moments shred, spiral and solo their way out of a densely produced record, while vocalist Michael Brown spews vile promises of violence and madness.
