Veluwe Wander Trail part 25

Hiked part 25/25 of the Veluwe Wander Trail, 20.2 kilometres from Hoenderloo to Schaarsbergen. The final stage of the Veluwe Wander Trail led from Hoenderloo through the heath and pine woods of De Hoge Veluwe National Park, past the hunting lodge Sint Hubertus and on to Schaarsbergen. Along the way I saw red deer grazing under the trees and a sand lizard resting in the grass. The walk ended on a long brick avenue lined with lime trees, closing a journey of 25 stages across the Veluwe. Hike report Your browser does not support the video tag.
