Eagles and Turkeys

I was told a quote by someone when I was hiking in the flinders ranges last week. If you want to fly like an eagle dont hang around turkeys It tells me to seek out eagles - people who will help me actively grow, not passively react to the growth of their environment. how do i distinguish between these people tho? well, i will make a list of all of the eagles around me J - the store manager of the IGA i work at, i heard him say this this morning about a coworkers child, "Realistically they can do anything they want if they want it enough and actually work towards it."
