The word that sums up this week is: rest. The weekdays were overloaded, with one crazy fire happening after another (no rest); but thankfully the weekend was really restful. We had planned for some friends to come for dinner on Sunday, but they couldn’t make it in the end: this was a Godsend as we could spend the day working in the sun and then I could chill with a bit of Wheel of Time. Sunday too was slow paced and pretty free of committments: a top moment for me was playing a game with my family on in the afternoon. I think the sunny days also have a large roll in helping me recover from an overloaded week. Something I’m looking forward to next week is a family lunch outing planned for the weekend.
