I’m back again after another little break until I was able to make time (and a clear table) for another big batch of photos. This time we have another pair of 1:1 prints – Bolt Pistols! As with the previous prints of this type that I shared – the MK.V Godwyn Pattern Boltguns – I went with a nice metallic red and metallic green. Unlike the previous prints, the screws in the casing are just surface detail that I may paint in a bit later. As you can see, even though this is a piece of “fan art”, there’s a bit of an discrepency between the size of the bolter rounds that could fit into the magazine and the barrel size. Still, given that this is a free and freely available fan art model of a toy gun from a pretty pulpy science-fantasy universe, I’m still pretty good with it – especially due to the “rule of cool”. This particular model also features a removable magazine. In lieu of gluing them in for the time being, I’ve chosen to use blu-tac to hold them in, and it’s working fine so far.…
