Last week, Ludum Dare 59 took place. The theme was “Signal”. And like always, an incredible amount of great games were produced, with endless variations on this simple theme. Votes are still ongoing, and it’s very hard to parse so many games to find the best ones, so let’s just pick a charming little game that came out of it. This game is about audio signal, how it works in simple terms, and how it can be modified with digital tools. This simple puzzle game with a cute aesthetic is actually a great tool to learn all about digital audio, a must play! As a side note, you might have heard about the planned end of Ludum Dare. It is set to finish in a few years. This is a sad news, but understandable, knowing so many beloved community events are dependents on the free labor of few people.
