Ishin no Arashi is another 8-bit historical simulation game from Koei, this one focusing on the most fearful type of warriors the imagination can conjure: “Debate Me” bros. The game is set at the end of the Edo period of Japan, circa 1867, as the long-ruling Shogunate finally gave way to a more modern era. You play as one of a selection of famous figures with the goal of bringing all of the feudal lords of the country together on one path for the future. That would be yours, naturally. There are various means at your disposal to persuade them, some more forceful than others.
