It has been a very busy two days and as I write this on Saturday evening I’m tired tired tired, but happy…An uneventful trip down from Ruabon to Bexhill via 158 / 805 / 395 and 171… you can all guess which was the most comfortable but to be fair, the 805 was infinitely better than the Super Voyager it replaces - better still, a big improvement to the Pendolino… what’s more just £4 for a coffee and pastry!Leaving the High Speed at Ashford and taking the slow train, impossible blue skies over Englands green and present land, yellow rape glowing like the sun with the warmth of my heart reflected in its embrace. I love this railway…Reaching Bexhill it seems like I’ve managed to fill my spotters book mark! The hi light being the Intercity 08 at Bletchley… if you want one, I’ll be doing them free with all book purchases direct from me - more on that soon enough.The show today was good.
