Pokemon: Battle Frontier – Mythbusters – 01 Feb 2010

The first recording today is Pokemon: Battle Frontier – Curbing the Crimson Tide. A strange talking pokemon in a cape, calling itself Red Lightning, is menacing children and their pokemon in the town. When it beats a pokemon it draws all over its face. May is in the park with her pokemon, when Red Lightning confronts her and demands to fight her pokemon. When Squirtle is defeated it also gets scribbled upon. Ash and friends encounter Red Lightning, and they have a battle, but they’re interrupted by Team Rocket who want to capture Red Lightning. I notice that in their “We’re Team Rocket” speech now, it goes “Jessie.” “And it’s James.” And now I’m now thinking they’re on the News Agents podcast. Red Lightning runs away, and Ash, Brock, May and Max hitch a ride with Team Rocket to catch it. They follow it to a rather impressive looking Rooftop house. They see Red Lightning talking to a little girl who asks them why they’re trespassing in her garden. Pikachu has a fight against Red…
