Designing for Curiosity, Spring 2026 School of Industrial Design, Georgia Tech Alice, Irene, Jessica, Shashank; Professor HyunJoo Oh Project Report: Wild Lenses I audited Designing for Curiosity at Georgia Tech this semester. The first half was seminar-style, working through seminal papers in design. At the midway point we got to talk about some of our learnings and I gave a presentation on Subverting Expectations. The second half was a group project where we designed and built a museum exhibit for the toughest audience there is - children - in partnership with the Children's Museum of Atlanta. It was a wonderful experience: to build something with my hands, to design a product with a tight feedback loop, to combine art, craft and technology, and to have it be received with such wonderful exclamations as “This is dope”. 10/10, would do it again.
