Happy Friday! Today is New Kids on the Block Day. This has been carved into my brain since April 24, 1989, when Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis (still alive!) declared it to be so. I can’t remember what I walked into a room for five minutes ago, but I remember New Kids on the Block Day. Along with observing that, I am celebrating:1) the repair and return of my Jeep after almost 3 weeks (it needed some rewiring), and 2) the end of my stupid post-viral rash. Last night the itchiness began to fade. Today I’m not actively itchy anymore, which is FANTASTIC, but I’m in that delicate phase where if I scratch my skin, it will become itchy. It’s so dry, but I don’t want to touch it overmuch yet. And Murphy has gone 13 days without vomiting or diarrhea.
