Cookery videos are being overrun with AI slop like everything else, but there are still some decent channels out there. I’ve been watching a fair few of Fallow’s videos lately, having started with one on how to make cheap steak better than a ribeye. I’m intent on trying their pancakes and French toast. Also in a steaky vein, see Max the Meat Guy’s attempt to turn a $1 steak into a $100 steak and complete guide to steak. My youngest was amused to catch me watching Ben Goshawk’s tips for the perfect Yorkshire pudding a while ago, but was happy enough with the results. His tips on rolling out flatbreads look sound too, so I’ll try those next. W2 Kitchen has cooked the entire 200-year timeline of Bolognese. And speaking of historical cookery, two good channels are Tasting History with Max Miller and B. Dylan Hollis of Baking Yesteryear.
