Hello friends! I am ready for the holiday weekend. Just realized at 9 AM that I forgot to schedule this last night, so it’s a tad late to your inboxes. But then I remembered - my timing is perfect, so it will be ok, right?The weather has been less cooperative this week, but the birds have still been amazing! I’ll be catching up on photos for a while, so migration will continue here for several more weeks. Here are my photo choices for today:Sunrise, May 20, 2026Black-and-white warbler - these little guys are hard to see!Titmouse showing his sweet side.Tennessee warbler on the move. Warblers rarely sit still.Blackpoll warbler on the move. Like I said, they don’t sit still.Swainson’s warbler in the shadows, which is their preference.Red-headed woodpecker - rarely do I get such a nice view of that red head!Eastern kingbird scanning for bugs.The black terns are still hanging around.
