Hello everyone! Things are getting absolutely mental right now. Our son just started nursery school, AWAYSIS is getting ready for submission which means we have a metric truckload of bugs and polishing to do, and I've been down with a bad cold for over a week now, so I'd be lying if I said I was feeling great right now. As a result I haven't done much indie gaming. Instead Pat and his wife grabbed me Resident Evil Requiem for my birthday, so I've been making my way through that while posted up in bed between headaches and life. What really has surprised me about Capcom's latest in this long-running franchise is just how they managed to humanize Leon, and really make you realize that he is a frail protagonist who is grappling with past trauma, his mortality, and the passage of time as we all grow older. Of course, it does that with a load of great one liners that make you roll your eyes, but it was quite a shock to find this much substance hidden in my silly zombie game. This has me…
