Today’s scam came in with the subject line: Service Alert: Storage Access May Be Restricted | ID:1064851-29906 The accompanying text lost me immediately at the expiration date, I mean beside that there’s no branding anywhere and the email came from support@zaobao.com (probably not the real email address, but still something I don’t recognize.) There’s also the creative random =s scattered throughout, the phrase “you may lose access to store =ync your data across devices.” just doesn’t make any sense. There are five random equal signs thrown in various places replacing the letters ouiss for no reason I can see outright, but probably to defeat same-text search anti-spam technology. Update payment method leads to “https://cloudstorageservices1.storage.googleapis.com=79439c9a-cf91-484f-a7ca-4d98258eb4ca.html/” which is NOT A URL. That = sign in what appears to be a URL replaces a / destroying their own scam. If they hadn’t shot themselves in the foot with their spam-evasion tech, which…
