SNOWTROOPER STAR WARS: POWER OF THE FORCE II (KENNER) Dear readers, we’ve finally arrived, after a seven week stretch, at the end of the Power of the Force coin reviews! As noted last week, the last few of these are the ones that don’t really have as much in the way of new to offer. While the seven figure set was heavier weighted on the heroes side, there were two “villains.” I already looked at Emperor Palpatine, but there was a trooper in the mix, specifically of the Snowtrooper variety. Why “snow?” I got no idea, but why question it now. THE FIGURE ITSELF The Snowtrooper is the seventh and final figure in the Toys “R” Us-exclusive “Millennium Minted Coins” line-up from the Star Wars: Power of the Force II line, released in 1998. This was the line’s third and final Snowtrooper, following the single and the deluxe. The figure stands 4 inches tall and he has 5 points of articulation.
