Eric Swallwell dropped out of the California governor’s race and then resigned from Congress in amazingly quick time. As WNYC’s On the Media tells us, it all started with a post on a completely different topic by influencer, Mrs Frazzled: “It began with a series of messages sent to Arielle Fodor, a creator better known as Mrs. Frazzled, with 1.4 million followers on TikTok and around 760,000 on Instagram. She’s a former kindergarten teacher who focuses on education policy.” Ms Fodor stated “A new government watchdog report found that the Department of Education basically stopped doing some of its most important oversight of student loan companies last year.” She did a piece about the issue, including in it some positive remarks about Swallwell, and immediately she started getting comments centered on the congressman. “They were all variations on the same theme, which is, ‘You know he sleeps with his staffers, right?’ or, ‘Don’t give him your phone number because he’ll text you late at…
