Nextdoor, damn, quit with the emailing already

I maintain a Nextdoor account simply because people post regularly into a neighborhood group I’m in links to posts on Nextdoor. TL;DR – Nextdoor keeps on adding categories and opting you into receiving emails I don’t visit Nextdoor nor particularly want to be spammed by the nonstop political and racially psychotic posts in my general area (the moderation in the area has historically been lacking,) so I unsubscribed to every mailing list they had and only visit in short visits to make sure someone’s not posting links to the next Klan rally. Little bit extreme sounding, but I had a whole slew of reports of walking while black in my email a while back and that was just the end of it for me. Nextdoor was the home of people who had been banned everywhere else and had found a little zone where they could practice their prejudice in the open. That may just be the area I’m in on the site, but for me this was/is Nextdoor. After unsubscribing to everything years ago I went a few glorious weeks…
