I let my mind wander a little bit today, and it got me to thinking about my favorite songs of all time. Being a former radio and club DJ, you’d think I’d be into a bunch of bubbly gummy, four on the floor, beat bangers, but no, that’s not the case. I mean, four on the floor can be fun, but it’s been a long while since I’ve found something I played back in the day to be particularly moving. However, these three specific tracks bring a tear to my eye every time I hear them. Here’s my top three music tracks… the J.P. Top three of all my time. #3 “MacArthur Park (Night of the Proms 2005 Performance)” by Donna Summer. I’ve always mildly enjoyed both the original and disco cover of this track because of its movement-type structure. However, there is pure magic in this specific live performance of the track. None of the other live performances, by Donna or anyone else, match the lightning in a bottle captured in this performance. #2 “Life In A Northern Town” by The Dream Academy. The track…
