How good was Mobile World Congress (MWC) this year? Barcelona, absolutely beautiful. Just kidding. I wasn’t at MWC’26, I was nicely rugged up at home back in late February. But I did avail myself an offer from Maya Mobile that was intended for MWC attendees – a travel eSIM with 15GB of data and 7-day validity that somehow made its way out to the general internet and to OzBargain. To this end, Maya Mobile set up an eSIM install page that simply displayed one static QR code. Scanning this with your phone allows you to install the eSIM – the “on-ramp” seems to be the familiar consumer.e-sim.global address.
