A Flip Through is when I set aside some time to read through a new RPG. This is not a deep dive or formal review. I like to point out what pushes me to read further, what elements I think put me off on playing the game, and overall if it’s a good idea for you to read it yourself. I don’t edit them, so if there are mistakes I’m not liable. Fatherfog is a new fairytale horror RPG from Tuesday Knight Games, the designers behind Mothership RPG. This “Zero Edition” dropped a few weeks ago out of the blue. I’m a little surprised by the somewhat stealthy release. You can’t even find it in the “New Releases” or “Tabletop Games” sections on the website. Whatever the case, Tuesday Knight Games appears to have continued the same strategy they used for Mothership. Fatherfog is a “0E” that will likely get some small zines, supplements, and indie interest before crowdfunding a deluxe “1E” of some sort. But should you pick up a copy?
