Hello wonderful people inside of the internet and welcome to the end of another week on planet earth! A big change occurred in my life this week: i switched my computer from kde to gnome. There are quite a few reasons for this, but mostly i was just curious about what gnome is like these days. I don't think i'm going to stick with it long term, as there are a few too many annoyances that kde didn't have, but overall i'm really impressed with the polish in the gnome ecosystem. I plan to write a post about it all in a few weeks. Watching Amélie was a big disappointment because so many people say it's their favourite film ever, but it goes on a bit and Amélie is kind of a bad person in the Emma sense; she decides she's going to make people's lives better, but actually the end goal is not their happiness but her own satisfaction and she doesn't really do a lot of good.
