Playground Soccer – Havana, Cuba I like the way this picture turned out, and I intentionally shot it this way to create a wide-angle effect. There was a gap between the blue wall and the white fence above it. You can see the design on the other side of the playground. Including the wall and the fence created a frame and a wide, horizontal slit. I shot several different versions, waiting for some action and ball movement. Shooting at f/2.8 sufficiently blurred the foreground element to prevent it from being distracting. A hard edge would take away from the soccer scene.
