It’s a movie many thought we’d never see — and now, we’re just months away, with our first proper glimpse this morning. Coyote vs. ACME has had a troubled road to the silver screen — filmed in 2022, it was one of the Warner Bros. films killed off for tax credit purposes, and seemingly locked in a vault forever. And then Ketchup Entertainment stepped in. Having had a modest hit with another Warner Bros. cast-off in the Looney Tunes film The Day The Earth Blew Up, Ketchup seems to be the perfect distributor to save the day here. Personally, I think this looks great. I’ve read the script — its out there — and its a very solid base for a great late Summer outing. Add that you’ve got two of my favorite on-screen personalities in Will Forte and John Cena in the cast, I’m hoping that this movie blows us all away. Coyote vs. ACME hits theaters, finally, on August 28th, 2026.
