Minor update, I have created a page, Job Advice Resources to cumulatively list all the materials I have written on advice for social scientists and crime analysts looking to pivot into private sector tech roles. I still get maybe ~2 folks a month ask for advice, and I am always happy to chat. I wish PhD granting institutions took this more seriously (it only takes minor changes to better prepare students).
