Probability of success of a project in a slime mold: (a) effort individuals will put in to meet a great outcome and overcome obstacles (b) friction that will erupt between teams. Organizational headwind rises extremely quickly with the number of different teams involved What you should NOT do: Ignore it Give up individually. The problem is systemic but it is your job to do something about it. Switch to top-down Have leaders dive in to help with details. Treat it as a systemic problem, not a details problem. Aim for perfection. Make each decision absolutely perfectly. Play blame game on a person or team. Be curious, empathetic, and seek to understand.
