I'm still in Paris, where we're still doing our thing. This usually means "eating everything," "walking everywhere," and "looking at art." Today was no exception. Except the "looking at art" part happened at the Louvre. Fun fact: I have been to Paris more times than I've been anywhere except Toronto (when I didn't live there), Montreal (when I didn't live there), and New York, but today was the the time I went to the Louvre. I can't really explain why. Things just never lined up properly. Today, they did. I would tell you all about the visit but the only thing that's worth writing about is that seeing the Mona Lisa up close was surreal even though I'd seen pics and videos of it for forty years. Everyone says the Mona Lisa is smaller than they thought it would be. I don't really get that. It's exactly as big as I thought it would be, or as I pictured it being. But make no mistake, there's something really special about it. Like, I don't know if it's a good painting, but I am 100% sure…
