The Visit is the 3rd Shyamalan film I’ve watched. Nothing still tops The Village in my opinion, but that’s a discussion for another time. The Visit’s story is actually very interesting, and one that’s very close to my heart. Becca, Loretta’s older daughter, wants to make a documentary about Loretta and her parents. She’s aiming to make a film about reconciliation and getting her mom back to her family. This started when Loretta’s parents contacted her on social media asking if she can meet their grandkids.
