There’s a 68 million settlement that you have to file to be compensated for Google improperly storing voice data when Assistant was triggered accidentally. That notice is in your spam folder most likely, it was in mine. Yes, the lawsuit started two years ago, but the settlement and registration is dated May 15th with a register-by deadline of August 27, 2026. I had my doubts initially because the site is very bare bones, but other sites tend to indicate it’s true and you have about 98 days left to file at this point. Before you go filing you will want to locate a few of your assistant-enabled devices and you’ll need a serial number and potentially IMEI number in some cases, where/when it was purchased, receipts if possible. I suspect we’ll be seeing a 68 million class action lawsuit against Google shortly for sending all of these claims to the spam folder. Notice to file against Google in a class action lawsuit is in your GMail spam folder by Paul E King first appeared on Pocketables.
