But there’s a fine line between love and hate, and Jack and Emily are none the wiser. The harder they try to hate each other, the deeper they fall in love, no matter how clueless they are about it 😅 The slow burn, the yearning, the tension, I love every single thing about this book! 💖 I’m not the eldest daughter, but I see so much of myself in Emily, in the way she loves her family, how she takes care of them, and how she shows up for them. But when you give so much of yourself to others all the time, your own needs and emotions take a backseat, and it can get lonely. The same can be said for Jack, too. Sarah Adams writes both characters so beautifully that their story makes you believe it’s possible to love yourself more and live a little for your own sake, while still giving that same kind of love to…
