In Which the Pirate Designs.

I was looking at the blue and white hat that I knit when I first got the Vcx/965i, and thought that the pattern would work well on a sweater. So I got out my sweater shape in Designaknit and started to apply the pattern. At first I had it as an all-over design but then I thought that might be too busy, so I reworked it as a single floral band with speckles over the rest, and I set the colours to pink and black. Please imagine 2″ of solid ribbing at the hems/cuffs and also a neckline; the design software doesn’t include that for some reason, but they’ll be there on the actual sweater. I’m thinking black for the cuffs/hem and pink for the neckline. (The speckles won’t have that moire effect, that’s just an artifact.) Someone suggested that the placement of the stripe (higher vs. lower) would really affect how my body shape looks.
