Two days of hurried, frantic building. We needed strong shelter. Horrific monsters were wandering. From whence have these things come? We fought them all day, again at night, exhaustion was mounting. But then we received new visitors four strange folks from afar. Their leader declared her name was Fern and all four were wizards. Fern Quickstream had ruled Stormcraft Village but that place was buried. The World Woe destroyed all that they had only these four survived. They cast a spell that surrounded us to turn away Terrors. We gave them our thanks and offered rest. We had no other aid. We learned of Fern’s past where she was born in what was once Goodbrine. Fern said she had plans to resurrect ruined Goodbrine village. She asked for our aid, to join with her and rebuild her old home. She had but three friends here with us now, more hands would be needed. People to labor, others to guard. This would be a large task.
