New Phone

Heya! So, I got a new phone a couple weeks ago! After, what, like 3 years, I've upgraded to an Honor Magic8 Lite. Mainly because the battery on my old one was slowly dying, and the device generally just started feeling kind of sluggish. Honestly, probably the best improvement has been my internet and bluetooth connection. Before upgrading, I'd basically have no signal while traveling via metro, but that's been all but resolved now. It's also, once again, kind of astounding to me how easy it is to transfer everything over. I had to log back into a couple accounts, but for me the most part, i just connected the two phones via usb-c, pressed a button and then let android do its thing. I don't really have too much more to say on this whole transition, which is a good thing in my opinion, honestly. You don't really want tech to be exciting. I'm glad that, so far, everything's been pretty boring and run-of-the-mill. The UI of the Magic8 is very liquid glass adjacent, which is interesting. I…
