Their core thing is: building digital literacy + critical thinking tools producing toolkits, exhibitions, and guides (like The Glass Room, Data Detox Kit) working with civil society orgs, journalists, activists, educators focusing on how tech shapes power, politics, and society They’re not grassroots infrastructure builders, they’re capacity builders and narrative shapers, working through partnership networks, funding, and “field building” – classic NGO patterns. In #OMN view they sit squarely in what we call the #NGO / #mainstreaming layer of the #openweb story. In that they don’t build the soil (infrastructure, protocols, messy grassroots tools).
