I was at a wedding party, a boy around 8 years old was sitting next to me. The parents have left him alone with a tablet. I don't know that many people at the wedding, I was by myself as well. The boy saw me looking at his screen. He sat nearer and let me watch what he was playing. When the game was over, we started chatting. I asked him what he wants in life? He pursed his lips and whispered, "world peace". I probe further why he wants it. When he started "My mommy says.....", I rolled my eyes. I interrupted him and asked whether all the reasons are from his mommy? He said yes. I asked again, "What does your heart really want?". He begins to answer, "Mommy says....". I interrupted him again and told him that not mommy wants but what he wants. He gave me a blank look. I changed my question, "If you are granted three wishes, what is your first wish?". He immediately raise his hand and says - "PS5". We both laughed, that's what he really wants. I do not know why parents would put ideas…
