Is “Go All In” a rather odd slogan for something as decorous as a National Year of Reading? Surely I don’t have to devote all my spare time to reading — won’t you let me get off with a couple of hours reading every day? And doesn’t that gigantic full stop look rather threatening? Shelf Awareness of 6 March reports “The Booksellers Association Group, comprising the Booksellers Association of the U.K. & Ireland, National Book Tokens, and Batch, will invest £200,000 (about $265,000) to support bookshops during the National Year of Reading.
