Baltimore to D.C.

Taking trips and photos has definitely been on the back burner since my daughter was born, so getting the chance to drop her off at the grandparents house and getting a couple days to ourselves was a nice break and chance to pull out the camera again. National Aquarium# Union Station, Washington D.C.# Coming back into Union Station was a throwback to seeing the Cherry Blossoms way back in 2018. Arlington National Cemetary# Since I had been around the National Mall a few times before I decided to instead go to Arlington National Cemetary which I’d never been to before. The sheer scale of it is hard to comprehend, even when only seeing a fraction of it. Makes you think about how many more service members are buried elsewhere and the insanity of war. Around DC# Back in the city after a short pit stop at the hotel I wandered over to the Smithsonian Natural History Museum and caught the beginning of some parade and then headed up to Union Market for lunch.
