I played CorgiSpace bit by bit this month. It is a nice collection of games by Adam Atomic, the creator of Canabalt. It is also pretty cheap even without discounts (less than a nice cup of coffee). It is a UFO50-like game, with lots of small games. But here all of the games have "short legs", all are short and based on simple ideas. They are all also done for the PICO-8 with a nice and coherent retro feel. After playing a game once, you unlock a comment from the author about the background of the game. While the games may be simple, some are surprisingly deep. Here is my list of favorite games in it: Rat Dreams: souls-like with only dodging and hitting. Fun and very non-punishing. Kuiper Cargo: falling blocks game with a fun progression mechanic. Each play has a limited number of rounds, so you cannot spend too much time playing at once like in standard Tetris.
