Weekends simply aren’t long enough.

I have been doing some more creative writing. I’m actually really happy with how things are progressing, but at the same time, it’s a lot slower than I would like. And I haven’t had any time to work on Spotcheck, or art, or music, at all. I’m trying to do all this while also doing Uber so that I can afford to eat. And they offer “Quests” now which makes being online longer worth more… But here’s a small teaser from what I’ve been focusing on lately, which is Arc 20. Enjoy. Dave walks through the crowded terminal of Heathrow with the handles to Marie’s carrier in his mouth, trying to blend with the crowd. Marie meows through the carrier. “This is embarrassing, Dave. I am not luggage!” Dave responds with a muffle, the handles still in his mouth. “Be quiet, kitten. We just need to make it outside without being too conspicuous and we’ll be in the clear.” Marie rolls her eyes in exasperation. “Oh, yeah, great. The dog carrying a cat carrier out of an airport won’t raise any suspicion.”
