A positive start to the week with news that SDinGovaccepted my talk proposal on accessibility debt. Now the hard work begins of preparing it. Happy to be returning to Edinburgh in September again and to attend this conference for the full length this time, plus the morning after to spend in the city winding down. A sad farewell to my Canadian colleague on Thursday who left after seven years at GDS in order to return to Toronto. On TV/streaming, enjoying Michael Portillo's new Great Japanese Railway Journeys series. It seems like half my friends and colleagues are going to Japan at the moment. I’m content to watch from afar until the tourist wave settles. Enjoyed a Peruvian lunch with Mena on Saturday in Islington at Mr LoBo, which we hadn't visited before. Really appreciate the cuisine after months without it. Went on a couple of cycling ride nearby over the weekend on mostly the busy roads of south-west London.
