Water Ya Waitin For

Miles: 15 Ok don’t look at me I try too hard with the titles. And I got this. Anyways I think the theme of the day was water. We hiked around Watuaga lake and it had a rope swing! I changed into my bathing suit and gave it a few tries to see if it was safe. I left before Scary, Zero, and Green and was a bit sad to move on without them. I waited a bit at the rope swing. It makes sense that they wanted to get the most they can out of the hostel stay though. I also don’t think anyone knew how puddy (pointless up and down) and chuddy today would be. Also as soon as you left the lake there was like no water for 6 miles. And I use this app called “far out” that has water symbols on a gps map and the last one leaving the lake was just like “if your reading this you should have got water a mile ago lol stuff yourself” essentially. I’ve never ran into that before. So I really had to ration water today. The next available water spot was reported as a maybe dry spot and it was 5 miles away. The…
