The first recording today is What’s New Scooby-Doo? – It’s Mean, it’s Green, it’s the Mystery Machine. The Mystery Machine seems to be possessed, as it starts driving on its own, first to chase Shaggy and Scooby, then when they’re driving along a rather dangerous road. They check with the mechanic who recently fixed it. He tells them everything was fine when he worked on it, but he also offers them money to buy it from them. They follow an oil trail to a house, and there they find Susan Dinwiddie who is the mother of two children who used to be in a band called The Mystery Kids, and they were the owners of the Mystery Machine, which used to be their tour bus. She’s trying to get them to record a new album and make a comeback. Susan tells the gang that the Mystery Machine was actually owned by Flash Flanagan, the band’s keyboard player, who’s now dead. So maybe it’s his ghost who’s taken control of the van. They also discover that there’s a third Dinwoodie child, Randy, who isn’t a…
