Project Hail Mary

We went and saw Project Hail Mary tonight. Didn't know much about it to be honest. Some people at work had seen it, thought it would be worthy of spending the money on it. Actually we had a movie voucher from Christmas so didn't spend a cent there. I liked the movie apart from basically the last 10 mins. It felt like they might of had the story locked down and some studio exec was like, hey we need this bit added on. I have not read the book but I assume it is better than what I saw? The only real downside to watching the film was the other filmgoers, who probably due to their every increasing short attention spans wouldn't shut the fuck up when they are supposed to. Highlights of this bullshit was: When the film went silent and the guy behind us said "Oh that's quiet" then followed that up later when it went silent again "Oh I think the sound has gone" which I found amusing as he must hav forgotten they had done that earlier. A woman unrelated to the silence dickhead made a weird…
