Kyle is a pilot and yesterday I got the opportunity to get an aerial tour of Catalina and Los Angeles. This probably deserves a longer post, but I’m tired so I’m going with: Top Ten Things I Saw Flying over LA1 Kyle, calmly flying us over to the island for lunch South Side of Catalina Island Walt Disney Concert Hall, it’s Gustavo’s final season but I couldn’t see what the season is going to be like from the air Gary, napping in the back seat – he’s seen it all before Parked next to our plane was the plane that Aunt Bee flew on the Andy Griffith Show episode, Aunt Bea’s Big Moment Landing on the 60 ft wide, 3000 ft long runway at the Catalina Airport in the Sky (KAVX). It looked about a block long as we were coming in, but we landed and stopped before hitting the halfway point. 10/10 landing from Kyle. The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. The futuristic rooftop looks like something out of a Star Trek episode. (Opening September 2026) Dodger Stadium, Going to see Ohtani play there next…
