Lone Tree, Oklahoma - iPhone 12 Pro I have always dreamed of being a writer and photographer for National Geographic, or maybe Arizona Highways. I am captivated by the imagery in both publications. Good photographs tell a story, making the written word secondary, if necessary at all. Photography can be an expensive hobby. For example, I own a Sony a7iii with a couple of Sigma lenses. It’s a nice camera, and definitely wasn’t cheap (although it is reasonable in comparison to high end camera equipment). I also take photos with my iPhone and I own a Paper Shoot digital camera. This “paper” digital camera uses a 20 mm fixed focus lens and has 20 MP photo resolution. There are no screens – just a memory card – so it provides an “old school” camera experience. The photos aren’t great, but they have a certain vintage appeal You don’t have to have expensive equipment to enjoy photography. Use what you have.
