Hope and reality

I’m just a simple teacher and a personal blogger who doesn’t understand much about politics, yet I’d still like to share what I think. A 16-year system has fallen. A system that had its flaws, but also its achievements. For example, favorable family policies. Protection against migration. But there were many negatives too: drifting away from the EU, battery factories, stadiums, and the neglect of healthcare and education. Most people point to corruption as the main reason for its downfall. So it was necessary, finally, to have another party that would aim to ensure that EU funds don’t end up in politicians’ pockets, but are used efficiently for the benefit of the community. Perhaps by now we could have become a country like the Czech Republic or Poland. In any case, the TISZA party campaigned on positive ideas. In my view, TISZA is nothing more than a “FIDESZ Light” – but there’s nothing wrong with that. I see it as a fundamentally liberal-conservative party. I didn’t believe the…
