I was browsing the local section at a shop near me and stumbled into another one of the Vancouver Seeds volumes; I played volume 3 here awhile back. This one's a little earlier and has a slightly more lo-fi presentation; it was audably recorded at a single live concert rather than in a studio, crowd noise and all. The live show feel does really add something here. This volume is a bit rock-heavy compared to volume 3, but it's also got a great blues recording on side 1. I wasn't able to find the full album on a single site, but between Youtube and the Museum of Canadian Music I was able to assemble the full thing. https://citizenfreak.com/titles/269618-jim-byrnes-vancouver-seeds-vol-2-comp https://citizenfreak.com/titles/307507-james-younger-vancouver-seeds-vol-2-comp https://citizenfreak.com/titles/297778-rhythm-blues-all-stars-vancouver-seeds-vol-2-comp
